About Holy Name

Built in 1961, Holy Name of Jesus Parish is a Roman Catholic church in the Archdiocese of Vancouver.

You can read the article below: Holy Name Church is a real eye-catcher  from The B.C. Catholic, December 14, 1961, shortly after the church was built by Alfred Horie Construction Ltd. and blessed by Archbishop William Mark Duke.

Our parish community has many stories to share about the living history of this church building and the people who worship here. Read our weekly Bulletin to find out what's happening.

Our church is located at the geographic center of Vancouver, at the intersection of Cambie Street and West 33rd Avenue. Across the street is Queen Elizabeth Park, which is the highest point in Vancouver and has spectacular city views and gardens. Come and visit us for Mass, confession, or for other events. You can drop by anytime to say a prayer.
